Greneda, Saturday, weather is warm, sunny, humid.
Hey Everybody,
Haven't posted in a bit but will try and catch up today. Been down and out with a cold, then believe it or not, seasickness. Have been in very rough seas before and no problem, the seas were a little bouncy but it took me down.
New port, Greneda. We took an excursion to the Palm Tree Gardens. Do not know what we were thinking, but we figured there would be many flowers, but by the title Palm Tree, we should have figured it out, palm trees.
It was a 30 minute ride up huge hills, narrow streets, and so winding around and around. We were in a van, all forward facing seats. We saw lots of little shops, homes, dogs, palm trees.
The Palm Gardens tour was very informative, saw many species of palms. It was a small area, but we had to walk down steep damp steps to view all the gardens.
We got back in time to have lunch up in La Veranda.
We did have dinner later on in Compass Rose.
We skipped the show and had an early night.
